Xenta Absenta 70% vol. 0.7 l online kaufen

Xenta Absenta is an intense, traditional absinthe, produced from a blend of classic herbs and characterised by its high alcohol content of 70% vol. The recipe is based on wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), green aniseed and fennel, complemented by other aromatic herbs, which combine to create a distinct, powerful flavour profile. Xenta Absenta is produced using traditional methods, in which the herbs are first macerated and then distilled. The characteristic green colour is achieved through the use of natural plant extracts and is a typical feature of high-quality absinthe.

Xenta is renowned for its modern interpretation of classic absinthe culture, combining a traditional blend of herbs with an accessible yet intense style. This absinthe is suitable both for drinking neat in a ritualised manner – for example, with the famous absinthe ritual over a sugar cube – and for mixing cocktails. Its aromatic depth, characterised by herbal bitterness, aniseed and subtle hints of liquorice, makes it a versatile staple of the modern bar scene.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright green.

Nose: Intense aniseed, herbs, notes of wormwood, subtle hints of liquorice.

Palate: Powerful, spicy and tart with dominant aniseed, wormwood and herbal flavours; warm and distinctive.

Finish: Long-lasting, spicy and tart with distinct herbal notes.

Xenta Absenta is ideal for classic absinthe rituals with water and sugar, which soften and round out its herbal aromas. In cocktails such as the Death in the Afternoon, Sazerac or the Corpse Reviver No. 2, it adds depth and a distinctive herbal note. It creates an interesting aromatic complement to desserts featuring dark chocolate, aniseed biscuits or spicy dishes. Due to its intensity, it is best enjoyed in moderation – neat, on the rocks or as a specific flavour component in creative drinks, always with a long-lasting and characterful herbal profile.
