Nonino Grappa ÙE Monovitigni Riserva 5 Years Old Nonino Anniversary is an exceptional Acquavite d’Uva from Italy, which impressively embodies the Nonino family’s decades of expertise in distillation. At 43% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, complete with a gift box, this exclusive Riserva blends several single-varietal grape distillates into a harmonious composition. For this anniversary bottling, the Ribolla Gialla, Merlot, Moscato and Malvasia grape varieties are processed and distilled individually, before being blended into an elegant cuvée. The result is an exceptionally complex premium Acquavite d’Uva that preserves the character of each individual grape variety.


Production begins immediately after the grape harvest. The fresh grapes are fermented under anaerobic conditions in stainless-steel tanks and then distilled straight away to prevent unwanted secondary fermentation. Distillation is carried out traditionally and discontinuously in the exclusive copper steam stills further developed by Benito Nonino, with the heads and tails carefully separated. The particularly slow distillation ensures that the delicate, variety-typical aromas are optimally preserved. After a resting period of six to twelve months in stainless steel tanks, the acquavite is aged for over five years in Limousin and Nevers barriques, as well as in ex-sherry casks. The casks are traditionally toasted by hand, which lends the spirit additional elegance and complexity. Naturally, the grappa is bottled without any colouring agents.

Colour: Intense, velvety amber.

Nose: Exceptionally rich and elegant with fruity and floral notes, vanilla, almonds, dried fruit, ripe grapes and subtle oaky notes.

Palate: Harmonious and smooth, with vanilla, dried fruit, almonds, ripe grapes, subtle spice and elegant hints of sherry and barrique casks.

Finish: Long-lasting, velvety and complex, with subtle woody spice, dried fruit, vanilla and an elegant warmth.
