Description
Description
The Ruinart Champagne Rosé Brut 12.5% ABV, in a 0.75 l bottle, is one of Champagne’s great classics and boasts an extraordinary history. More than 250 years ago, the long-established House of Ruinart launched its rosé champagne, thereby creating one of the first rosé cuvées in Champagne. To this day, this French rosé champagne is synonymous with elegance, finesse and unmistakable freshness.
The blend combines 55% Pinot Noir – of which 18–19% is vinified as red wine – with 45% Chardonnay. The cuvée is complemented by 20–25% reserve wines from the two preceding vintages, which ensure additional complexity and continuity. The harmonious blend of the Chardonnay’s freshness and elegance with the structure and character of the Pinot Noir gives Ruinart Rosé Brut its distinctive personality. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., this premium rosé champagne is balanced, lively and multi-layered. Its exceptional style makes it one of the world’s best-known rosé champagnes and an outstanding example of Ruinart’s distinctive signature.
Tasting Note
In the glass, Ruinart Champagne Rosé Brut displays delicate pomegranate and rosé hues with subtle orange highlights and a lively, persistent effervescence. On the nose, notes of exotic fruits, red berries, rose petals and pomegranate unfold, lending freshness and aromatic depth. On the palate, the cuvée is full-bodied and well-balanced, with flavours of red berries accompanied by subtle notes of mint, grapefruit and citrus fruits. The finish is elegant, fresh and pleasantly long-lasting.
Ruinart Rosé Brut pairs superbly with tuna tartare, salmon, prawns and delicate seafood. This French rosé champagne is also an excellent match for duck breast, veal, Asian dishes or fruity desserts featuring red berries. As an aperitif, it impresses with its freshness and elegance, whilst its versatility makes it the ideal accompaniment to a wide range of dishes. Served at a temperature of 8–10 °C, this Rosé Brut Champagne reveals its full finesse and aromatic complexity to the full.
