Founded in 1798, the Tobermory Distillery is one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries and is situated in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Since its foundation, it has endured turbulent times, with numerous changes of ownership and periods when production was halted. In 1993, Burn Stewart Distillers took over the distillery, which was sold to the South African Distill Group in 2013. In March 2017, production was halted once again to carry out refurbishment work. Despite these challenges, Tobermory remains an important part of the Scottish whisky tradition.

Tobermory Oloroso Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky is a limited edition that has been matured for 17 years in Oloroso sherry casks and delights with a wealth of distinctive flavours. This exquisite single malt whisky unfolds complex notes of caramel, fruity accents and delicate rose petals, which together create a harmonious tasting experience.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Fruity notes of blackcurrants, hints of spice, creamy caramel, toffee and almonds.

Palate: Tropical fruits, ripe cherries, toffee, a hint of leather, rose petals.

Finish: Long-lasting, dry, nutty, with hints of ginger.
