Havana Club Añejo Especial is a new dark rum that combines the light flavour of young, white rum with the intense aroma of older, dark rums. To achieve this, the rum master – the ‘maestro ronero’ – carefully selects casks of younger and older rum to create the perfect, balanced blend. This rum derives its intensity from a second ageing process in young, ex-whisky casks.

Today, it is regarded as a privilege for discerning connoisseurs of the finest rum. Like the other Havana Club varieties, Havana Club Añejo Especial stands for the Cuban zest for life and embodies the liquid flavour of Cuba.
