Der Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses Pinot Noir 2023 ist ein stilvoller Rotwein aus dem sonnigen Süden Frankreichs, der die charakteristische Finesse der Rebsorte Pinot Noir mit der mediterranen Wärme des Languedoc vereint. Die Cuvée stammt aus Weinbergen, die sich entlang der Mittelmeerküste zwischen Narbonne und Béziers erstrecken – eine Region mit idealen klimatischen Bedingungen für aromatische, fruchtbetonte und dennoch elegante Weine.
Gérard Bertrand, eine der bedeutendsten Persönlichkeiten des biodynamischen Weinbaus in Frankreich, steht mit dem Côte des Roses-Sortiment für moderne, terroirgeprägte Weine mit hohem Anspruch an Stil und Nachhaltigkeit. Der Jahrgang 2023 präsentiert sich ausgewogen, reif und frisch. Die Reben wachsen auf kalk- und tonhaltigen Böden, werden schonend gelesen und temperaturkontrolliert vergoren, um die feinen Aromen und die zarte Textur des Pinot Noir bestmöglich zu bewahren. Der Wein wird kurz im Edelstahltank und teilweise in Holz ausgebaut, was ihm zusätzliche Tiefe verleiht, ohne die Frucht zu überdecken.
Optisch auffällig ist auch die edle Designflasche mit Rosenboden, ein stilvoller Ausdruck der Eleganz, die dieser Pinot Noir im Glas verspricht. Tasting notes:
Im Glas zeigt sich der Wein in einem leuchtenden Rubinrot mit zarten Purpurreflexen. In der Nase entfaltet sich ein duftiges Bukett von Kirsche, Himbeere, Veilchen und einem Hauch Vanille. Am Gaumen wirkt der Pinot Noir geschmeidig, elegant und feinfruchtig, mit sanften Tanninen, gut integrierter Säure und einem harmonischen, leicht würzigen Abgang.
Ein vielseitiger Speisebegleiter zu gegrilltem Geflügel, Kalbsfilet, Thunfisch-Tataki, mediterranen Gemüsegerichten, aber auch zu Pilzrisotto oder mildem Weichkäse. Gekühlt bei 14–16 °C ist er auch an wärmeren Tagen ein Genuss.
