The K+K Kirnbauer Pink Pearls Rosé Frizzante 2024, 11.5% ABV, 0.75 l, is an elegant, sparkling rosé from Burgenland that perfectly combines a zest for life with lightness. The long-established K+K Kirnbauer winery, renowned for characterful red wines such as ‘Das Phantom’, reveals its playful side with this frizzante, presenting a rosé that brings summer, enjoyment and a modern lifestyle to the glass.


The cuvée is made from St. Laurent with a subtle hint of Blaufränkisch, which gives the wine its seductive pink colour and intense fruity notes. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, preserving the wine’s freshness and varietal character. The effervescence is created by the addition of CO₂, which gives the wine its lively mousse. The 2024 vintage was bottled in July and can be cellared until 2026. The grapes come from stony, limestone-rich soils in Central Burgenland, which impart a distinct minerality and freshness.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Pink Pearls Rosé Frizzante displays a brilliant, salmon-coloured pink with a sparkling perlage. On the nose, fruity aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries and heart-shaped cherries dominate, accompanied by delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh, playful and lively, with distinct fruit and an invigorating balance between sweetness and acidity. The finish is fruity, charming and zesty.

With its unpretentious character, Pink Pearls Frizzante is the perfect companion for summer parties, picnics, barbecues or relaxing moments on the terrace. Served at 7 °C, it reveals its sparkling freshness to the full.
