The Tschermonegg Welschriesling Südsteiermark DAC 2025 stands for a classic, straightforward Welschriesling from southern Styria that clearly emphasises freshness, origin and varietal typicity. The Südsteiermark region is known for its cool nights and the precise acidity structure of its wines, which is reflected particularly clearly in this vintage. Vinified from Welschriesling and matured in stainless steel tanks, the style remains deliberately lean, clear and animating. With an alcohol content of 11.5%, this Südsteiermark DAC is light-footed and balanced and is ideal for uncomplicated enjoyment as well as a versatile accompaniment to food.


The ageing in stainless steel preserves freshness, fruit and clarity and emphasises the Puriste character of this wine. The recommended drinking temperature of 6 °C emphasises its invigorating acidity and clean structure. With a shelf life of up to three years, the Tschermonegg Welschriesling 2025 is a typical representative of its origin that is particularly enjoyable to drink young. Tasting Note

Bright pale yellow in the glass with green reflections. Delicate aroma of pomaceous citrus fruit and vineyard peach on the nose. Dry on the palate with fresh acidity, a finely flavoured, slender body and clear structure. The finish is fresh, animating and characterised by a hint of green apples.

This Welschriesling from Southern Styria also comes into its own with vegetarian dishes with vegetables or mildly flavoured dishes. It also makes a convincing, uncomplicated soloist on warm days when a clearly structured, fresh white wine is required.
