Tasting Note

In the glass, the Porto Cruz Tawny has a warm amber colour with reddish reflections. The nose reveals elegant aromas of dried fruit, sultanas and fine nutty notes, accompanied by a hint of caramel. On the palate, the port wine is soft and harmonious with notes of ripe fruit, nuts and subtle spicy nuances. The finish is round, balanced and long-lasting.

This Tawny Port from Portugal is an excellent accompaniment to desserts with nuts, caramel, crème brûlée or tarte tatin. Porto Cruz Tawny Port also harmonises very well with mature cheese, blue cheese, almonds or walnuts and is ideal as a dessert wine, digestif or as an enjoyable end to a meal.
