Named after Loch Uigeadail, the distillery's water source, this whisky combines the unmistakable smokiness of Ardbeg with the deep, fruity sweetness of sherry and ex-bourbon casks.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep golden amber.

Nose: Intense peat smoke with notes of dark chocolate, sultanas, leather, roasted nuts and spicy oak.

Flavour: Full-bodied and complex with smoky malt, sweet sherry, toffee, espresso, honey and a subtle hint of spice.

Finish: Long lasting, warming and deep with a perfect balance of peat smoke, spices and dark fruits.

The Ardbeg Uigeadail is perfect to enjoy on its own, with a few drops of water opening up its flavours even further and highlighting its complexity. It is an excellent accompaniment to grilled meat, smoked cheese or dark chocolate, which perfectly complement its smoky and sweet notes. It is also an excellent choice as a whisky to enjoy with a strong cigar.
