Following an initial maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky undergoes a further maturation of at least three months in handcrafted Oloroso sherry octave casks. This method intensifies the aromas and gives the whisky its characteristic dark colour and complexity.

Darkness! places great importance on traditional craftsmanship and the use of high-quality materials. The barrels are crafted by experienced coopers to ensure the highest quality and sustainability.

Darkness! Whisky is sourced from various regions of Scotland, including Speyside, Islay and the Highlands. By selecting renowned distilleries and employing a special finishing process, we create a unique blend of regional character and intense sherry notes.
