The story of Kracher began in 1981, when Alois Kracher Sr. realised his vision of exceptional wines in the Austrian region of Burgenland. Following his untimely death in 2007, his son Gerhard Kracher took over the winery and continued his father’s legacy with equal passion and dedication. Under his leadership, Kracher has developed into one of Austria’s best-known and most successful wineries.
