A dark ruby red colour with violet hues in the glass. Typical aromas of sour cherry and ripe cherries unfold on the nose, accompanied by a fine floral freshness and delicate vanilla notes. It is juicy and round on the palate, with a subtle spiciness and nuances of plums and dark berries. The tannins are soft and well integrated, while the medium acidity ensures a harmonious balance. The finish is elegant, balanced and lingering, with a fine fruity depth that makes you want to savour the next sip.

The Kracher Zweigelt 2020 is a versatile accompaniment to hearty meat dishes and aromatic cuisine. It is particularly recommended with a juicy beef steak, spicy spaghetti Bolognese or braised lamb with Mediterranean herbs. It also comes into its own with mature hard cheese or a classic roast goose, as its fruit and spice harmonise perfectly with the intense flavours of the food.
