Craigellachie whiskies have won numerous awards, including the title of "World's Best Single Malt" for the 31-year-old Craigellachie at the World Whiskies Awards. The 17-year-old was awarded a bronze medal at the 2023 World Whiskies Awards.

Craigellachie’s bottles feature a classic design with historical elements that highlight the distillery’s long tradition and commitment to craftsmanship.

Craigellachie relies on traditional production methods. Distillation takes place in four copper stills, and the alcohol vapour is condensed in worm-tube condensers. This method results in a higher sulphur content in the new make spirit, which develops complex, meaty aromas during maturation. Fermentation lasts around 56 hours in eight wooden washbacks.

The distillery places great importance on sustainable production methods and sources its raw materials from the local region. The use of traditional methods helps to preserve the heritage of craftsmanship.

The Craigellachie Distillery is located in the village of the same name in Scotland’s Speyside region. The name ‘Craigellachie’ means ‘rocky hill’ and refers to the distillery’s location above the confluence of the River Spey and the River Fiddich.
