The history of Dictador Rum begins in 1751, when Severo Arango y Ferro arrived in Cartagena, Colombia, and was soon given the nickname ‘Dictador’. Two centuries later, in 1913, his family founded Destilería Colombiana to produce a high-quality Colombian rum that would carry on the Dictador’s legacy. Since then, Dictador Rum has established itself as one of the leading brands of premium rum, renowned for its exceptional flavour and artisanal production.
