El Mayor Tequila is produced by the fourth generation of the González family in Jalisco, Mexico. This family has a long tradition of tequila production and has set itself the goal of creating a tequila that embodies the finest qualities of the blue Weber agave. With a deep respect for tradition and a tireless pursuit of perfection, El Mayor Tequila is now one of the leading brands in the premium tequila segment.

El Mayor Tequila is made from hand-selected blue Weber agaves, which are harvested once they have reached maturity. After harvesting, the agave hearts are slowly baked and fermented before being distilled in copper stills. Ageing takes place in hand-selected American white oak casks, which impart the tequila’s characteristic aromas and exceptional smoothness. El Mayor’s philosophy is to create a tequila that is both pure and complex, capturing the soul of Mexico in every sip.

El Mayor Blanco

A clear, unaged tequila with fresh agave aromas, complemented by citrus notes and a hint of spice. Ideal for cocktails or enjoying neat.

El Mayor Reposado

This tequila is aged for up to nine months in oak barrels, developing soft notes of vanilla, caramel and a subtle oakiness. Perfect for enjoying neat or in premium cocktails.
