Père Magloire has won numerous international awards, including gold medals at prestigious competitions such as the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Père Magloire bottles are characterised by a classic design featuring traditional labels that reflect the brand’s long history and quality. Each bottle bears the distinctive portrait of ‘Père Magloire’, a legendary Norman innkeeper after whom the brand is named.

Production begins with the selection and pressing of the apples, followed by the natural fermentation of the must into cider. For Calvados Pays d’Auge, a double distillation takes place in traditional copper stills, resulting in a particularly pure and aromatic distillate. The Calvados is then aged in oak barrels, where it develops its complex aromas.

Père Magloire places great emphasis on sustainable production. The apples are sourced from local growers, and the distillery uses environmentally friendly processes. Furthermore, the Calvados contains no artificial additives or colourings.

The distillery is located in Normandy, in the Pays d’Auge, an area with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). The fertile soil and temperate climate provide ideal conditions for growing over 200 varieties of apple, which form the basis for the unique flavour of Calvados.
