The production of Ron Aldea

Selection of raw materials

The production of Ron Aldea begins with the careful selection of the finest sugar cane, grown on the fertile soils of the Canary Islands. Only the highest quality sugar cane is used for rum production.

Distillation process

After harvesting, the sugar cane is pressed and the juice is fermented. The fermented juice is then distilled in traditional copper stills to produce a pure and flavourful rum.

Ageing in oak casks

Ron Aldea rum is aged in selected oak casks to develop and refine its flavours. The duration of ageing varies depending on the product and can be up to 20 years.

Bottling and quality control

Before the rum is bottled, each batch undergoes strict quality control to ensure it meets Ron Aldea’s high standards. The finished rum is then bottled in stylish bottles and is ready to enjoy.
