Collection: Shackleton Whisky

A tribute to one of the most famous polar expeditions, Shackleton Whisky captivates with its story and authenticity – loved worldwide by connoisseurs, collectors and history enthusiasts.

The bottle features a nostalgic label bearing the inscription ‘British Antarctic Expedition 1907’ and comes in a blue and gold outer packaging. The design evokes the ice hut at Cape Royds and the authentic charm of the expedition.

Today’s version is produced in Scotland as a blended malt in modern facilities – based on historical recipes, but produced to modern standards. The alcohol content of 40% ABV (or 47.3% in the original Rare Old Highland Malt formula) ensures a well-balanced taste experience.

A portion of the sales proceeds goes to the Antarctic Heritage Trust, which works to preserve the historic Shackleton Base Camp at Cape Royds. The brand also promotes eco-conscious travel and adventures away from civilisation.

Inspired by bottles discovered after lying buried under the ice at Cape Royds in Antarctica for over 100 years, this blend is sourced from single malt distilleries in Speyside, Iceland and the Highlands. It is based on the expedition tea that Shackleton and his crew left behind in the eternal ice in 1907.

• Shackleton Blended Malt (40%): Aromas of vanilla, honey, subtle Ingwerer notes and a hint of smoke – rich and adventurous.
• Rare Old Highland Malt (47.3%): A replica of the original expedition whisky in a limited-edition wooden box.
