Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber.

Nose: Aromas of honey, vanilla, dried apricots and a hint of smoke.

Palate: Smooth and well-balanced with notes of malt, toffee, spices and a subtle hint of peat.

Finish: Long-lasting with sweet and spicy accents and a subtle smoky note.

This whisky pairs superbly with dark chocolate or smoked cheese. Alternatively, it also goes well with barbecued meat or marinated nuts. For a special treat, it can be served in an Old Fashioned with orange zest and a dash of maple syrup.
