Tabu Absinth can be enjoyed in various ways, though the traditional method using water and sugar is particularly popular. To do this, an absinthe spoon with a sugar cube is placed on top of a glass, and the absinthe is poured through the sugar into the glass. Cold water is then slowly poured over the sugar until the absinthe takes on a milky, cloudy colour – a process known as ‘louche’ which releases the absinthe’s aromas.
