Stefanshof focuses on sustainable viticulture and selective hand-picking to ensure the highest quality. A distinctive feature is the estate’s specially developed whole-bunch fermentation, in which whole, undamaged grapes undergo intercellular fermentation. This process preserves the natural aromas and results in wines with a particularly pronounced fruit character.

Stefanshof places great emphasis on environmentally friendly practices and sustainable viticulture. Through selective hand-picking and the avoidance of chemical additives, the natural balance of the vineyard is preserved.

The Stefanshof’s 84-hectare vineyards are situated on the site of a former imperial stud farm near Lake Neusiedl. The Pannonian climate, with its warm days and cool nights, combined with the fertile soil, provides ideal conditions for growing a wide variety of grape varieties.
