The Koval MILLET Single Barrel Whisky 40% vol. 0.5 l is an exceptional whisky that stands out from other whiskies thanks to its unique selection of ingredients and production method. Made from 100 per cent millet – a grain that is widely grown in Asia and Africa and is used in Nepal as a base for spirits – this whisky is the first of its kind.

The grain comes from a local organic farmers’ collective in the Midwestern United States, which underlines the product’s sustainability and quality. Koval MILLET is matured in new American oak casks from Minnesota, giving it a complex yet smooth flavour profile. The whisky is distilled exclusively from the ‘heart’ of the distillate and is unfiltered. It is organic, kosher, gluten-free and produced in small batches to ensure the highest quality and authenticity.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Aromas of fresh millet, delicate spices and a hint of vanilla.

Palate: Smooth and full-bodied, with notes of caramel, toasted grain and a delicate oakiness.

Finish: Long and pleasant, with a subtle sweetness and a slightly nutty aftertaste.

This whisky is excellent enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate its flavours. It pairs well with grilled meat, spicy barbecues or even strong cheeses. Koval MILLET whisky also comes into its own in cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or a Whisky Sour.
