KI NO BI SEI Kyoto Dry Gin is the high-proof version of the famous KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin and boasts an alcohol content of 54.5% vol. This variant brings out the flavours of the carefully selected Japanese botanicals even more intensely, delivering a full-bodied, complex taste experience. In Japanese, ‘Sei’ means ‘clarity’ or ‘strength’ – an apt description for this special gin, which captivates with its distinctive juniper note, spicy freshness and elegant depth.

Produced at the Kyoto Distillery, Japan’s first gin distillery, KI NO BI SEI reflects centuries-old Japanese craftsmanship. The ingredients are perfectly balanced: yellow yuzu provides fresh citrus notes, hinoki wood chips (Japanese cypress) add a subtle, woody nuance, whilst bamboo and goyokuro tea ensure a delicate balance and depth. Green sansho berries (Japanese peppercorns) lend the gin a pleasant heat and spicy complexity.

Nose: Intense and aromatic, with fresh yuzu citrus notes, spicy sansho pepper, floral hints and subtle woody notes.

Thanks to its higher alcohol content, KI NO BI SEI Kyoto Dry Gin is ideal for classic cocktails such as a Negroni, a robust Martini or a characterful gin and tonic. It pairs superbly with a high-quality Indian tonic water, garnished with a yuzu or lemon zest. Even served neat over ice, it impresses with its rich variety of flavours.
