With an alcohol content of 45.1% vol. and bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle, this exceptional gin comes from the renowned Kyoto Distillery, Japan’s first distillery specialising exclusively in gin. This limited edition was developed in collaboration with the historic tea manufacturer Hori-Shichimeien, which has been renowned for its high-quality teas for over 150 years.

What makes KI NO TEA so special is the delicate balance between classic gin botanicals and carefully selected Japanese tea leaves, including Tencha and Gyokuro – two particularly fine, hand-picked green teas from Uji, one of Japan’s most famous tea-growing regions. These lend the gin an unrivalled smoothness and a deep, umami-rich complexity. The botanicals are distilled in separate batches to bring out the individual flavours to their fullest potential.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear and brilliant.

Nose: Fresh, with a gentle hint of juniper, elegant green tea aromas, floral nuances and a subtle citrus freshness.

Palate: Silky, harmonious, umami-rich tea leaves, sweet vanilla, juniper, spicy herbal notes.

Finish: Lang, smooth, slightly sweet, with lingering tea aromas.
