Originally only produced in limited quantities, Malacca quickly became a coveted collector's item due to its smooth, more aromatic gin structure. In contrast to the strikingly dry London Dry style, Malacca is rounder, fruitier and has a pronounced focus on exotic botanicals. It is produced using traditional methods, whereby juniper, citrus notes and finely balanced spices blend harmoniously. At 41.3% vol., it is both pleasantly mild and aromatically open, making it particularly versatile for both classic drinks and modern cocktail creations.

The recipe for Malacca is based on historical gin styles from the 19th century, which were inspired by trade routes in South East Asia. This background is reflected in its warm, slightly sweet and spicy flavour.
