Windspiel Premium Sloe Gin combines the multi-award-winning Windspiel Premium Dry Gin with carefully selected sloes from the Eifel region. To produce it, the hand-picked fruit is macerated in the Premium Dry Gin and then complemented by the addition of natural sloe juice. The result is a German sloe gin in which the fruity sloe is combined with the characteristic juniper and botanical profile of the Windspiel base. A distinctive feature is the potato spirit used, which is produced for Windspiel from potatoes and lends the Sloe Gin a smooth, delicately spiced base. This sets the production process apart from many classic, grain-based gin products.

With an alcohol content of 33.3 per cent, the Windspiel Premium Sloe Gin 0.5 l combines the typical characteristics of a sloe liqueur with the aromatic structure of a high-quality dry gin. The juniper and floral citrus notes of the gin base meet the characteristic fruitiness of the Eifel sloes. The interplay of potato spirit, Windspiel Premium Dry Gin, hand-picked sloes and natural sloe juice forms the heart of this special bottling. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep ruby red with dark berry-coloured highlights.

Nose: Aromatic sloes with distinct juniper, accompanied by floral citrus notes and subtle spicy accents.

Palate: Fruity and well-balanced with ripe sloe berries, juniper and floral citrus notes, complemented by the delicately spicy and mellow structure of the potato spirit.

Finish: Long-lasting and harmonious with sloe fruit, subtle juniper and a pleasantly mild spiciness.

Windspiel Premium Sloe Gin is particularly well-suited as a fruity sundowner and can be served neat, slightly chilled or on the rocks. For a refreshing long drink, top up approximately 4 cl of Sloe Gin with dry tonic water or soda and garnish with a twist of lemon or orange. As an aperitif, it also pairs superbly with dry sparkling wine or Prosecco, which brings out the extra freshness of the sloe fruit.
