Set against the picturesque landscape of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Gölles is the third generation to run his family’s long-established fruit-growing business. After graduating from the renowned Higher Federal College for Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Klosterneuburg, he devoted himself to refining his parents’ harvest of apples, pears, plums and peaches. He began distilling fine spirits in 1979, followed by the establishment of his workshop for high-quality vinegar in 1984. Today, the range comprises around twenty fine spirits and just as many varieties of vinegar, all of which regularly receive accolades.

Gölles Alter Pfirsich peach brandy is aged for eight years in oak barrels, during which time it develops a delicate aroma of vanilla, wood and toasted notes. Through this ageing process, the peaches from Eastern Styria develop a distinctive richness, resulting in a full-bodied distillate.

With an alcohol content of 60.2 per cent, Gölles Alter Pfirsich is a robust brandy that appeals to lovers of intense flavour experiences and is also popular amongst fans of full-bodied whisky.
