The history of Gölles begins in the picturesque region of Styria in Austria. Since the 1970s, the family-run business Gölles has specialised in the production of fine spirits and vinegars. Founded by Alois Gölles, the distillery has placed great emphasis on quality and tradition from the very beginning. Today, the company is run by his son David Gölles, who continues the traditions whilst also introducing innovative touches.

Traditional methods and regional ingredients

Gölles uses only the finest, locally grown fruit in the production of its premium spirits and vinegars. Distillation is carried out using traditional methods, combined with state-of-the-art technology, to preserve the flavours as effectively as possible. Maturation in oak barrels gives the spirits their characteristic depth and complexity.

Gölles Apple Balsamic Vinegar

Gölles Apple Balsamic Vinegar impresses with its delicate balance of sweetness and acidity. Made from the finest Styrian apples, this vinegar is ideal for salads, sauces and desserts.

Gölles Alte Zwetschke

Gölles Alte Zwetschke is a fine brandy that impresses with its intense fruitiness and subtle woody notes. Made from fully ripe plums and matured in oak barrels, this brandy offers a rich taste experience.

Gölles Raspberry Vinegar

Gölles Williams Pear is a classic among fine brandies. With its intense pear aroma and delicate sweetness, it is ideal as a digestif or for enhancing desserts.

Apple Balsamic Vinegar Vinaigrette

• 50 ml Gölles apple balsamic vinegar
• 100 ml olive oil
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk into a creamy dressing.

Old Plum Digestif

• 40 ml Gölles Alte Zwetschke
• Serve in a tulip-shaped glass and savour slowly.

Raspberry Vinegar Dressing

• 50 ml Gölles Raspberry Vinegar
• 100 ml walnut oil
• 1 tsp honey
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to form a fruity dressing.

Williams pear as a digestif

• 40 ml Gölles Williams pear
• Serve in a tulip-shaped glass and enjoy at room temperature.
