PUNI GOLD is an elegant Italian malt whisky, matured in ex-bourbon casks, from the PUNI Distillery, Italy’s first and only whisky distillery. Founded in Glurns, South Tyrol, PUNI combines Alpine purity with Scottish distilling tradition and Italian refinement. The modern distillery has quickly made a name for itself internationally and is synonymous with authentic whisky featuring a distinctive character and high-quality grain from the Puster Valley.

The GOLD is one of the key expressions in the core range and is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks, giving it a classic structure, pleasant sweetness and a distinct oak profile. A grain blend typical of PUNI – comprising barley, wheat and rye – is used, giving the whisky a creamy mouthfeel and a smooth, harmonious texture. It is bottled at 43 % ABV, is non-chill-filtered and contains no colouring – for an authentic tasting experience.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with a warm sheen.

Nose: Smooth and inviting, with aromas of vanilla, honey, light fruits, caramel and a hint of grain.

Palate: Round and well-balanced with notes of malt, vanilla, creamy toffee, citrus freshness and subtle oaky spice.

Finish: Medium-length, mild and pleasantly sweet with a hint of wood and spices.
