Following an initial maturation in bourbon and sherry casks, the Green Spot Château Montelena receives its distinctive finish in French Zinfandel wine casks from the famous vineyard. This secondary maturation lends the whiskey a complex fruitiness, velvety tannins and a subtle spiciness that harmonise perfectly with the creamy, smooth character of the pot still. At 46% ABV, this Irish whisky is bottled in its natural colour and without chill filtration to preserve its full range of flavours.
