Dellavalle Villa Isa Grappa Chardonnay 42% ABV 0.7 l – an exquisite grappa from Piedmont that reflects the elegance and finesse of the Chardonnay grape. The Piedmontese grappas from Dellavalle’s Villa Isa range offer an excellent insight into the region’s rich wine-making tradition.

Careful distillation in small stills using the intermittent method ensures gentle processing of the pomace. This preserves the delicate, floral aromas that are essential to a high-quality grappa. The grappa is then aged initially in stainless steel tanks before being refined in oak casks for 12 to 18 months. This method gives it a balanced structure and a pleasant, complex bouquet that connoisseurs appreciate.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold, with brilliant highlights.

Nose: Delicate floral notes, white blossoms, ripe apples, subtle hints of vanilla.

Palate: Smooth, harmonious, an elegant balance of freshness and gentle oak, with subtle notes of honey and almond.

Finish: Long-lasting, with subtle spicy accents and a hint of vanilla.

The Dellavalle Villa Isa Grappa Chardonnay is ideal as a digestif after a delicious meal. It pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate, almond biscuits or caramelised nuts.
