These 16 years of ageing allow the rum to combine the specific characteristics of both types of wood and develop a balanced and multi-layered flavour profile.

The American oak contributes warm notes of vanilla and caramel, whilst the French oak adds deeper spicy and savoury flavours. The finish in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask brings an additional sweet and nutty dimension that blends perfectly with the rum’s fruity and woody notes.
