Ron Malecon takes its name from the famous “Malecón” seafront promenade in Havana, the capital of Cuba, which is renowned for its lively atmosphere and historical significance. The brand was founded by Marco Savio, an Italian rum specialist whose passion for high-quality rum laid the foundations for Ron Malecon. Ron Malecon is distilled in Panama using the traditional Cuban method from molasses, employing copper column stills.

The Rum Malecon Añejo 13 Años Rare Proof 2006 is a limited edition from the Malecon distillery, representing a special vintage and highly regarded for its rarity, exceptional quality and unique characteristics.

This rum is produced from carefully selected sugar cane and is aged for 13 years, developing its distinctive depth and complexity through this extended ageing process. The ‘2006’ in the name refers to the year of distillation, making this vintage rum even more exclusive.
