Ron Malecon takes its name from the famous ‘Malecón’ seafront promenade in Havana, the capital of Cuba, which is renowned for its lively atmosphere and historical significance. The brand was founded by Marco Savio, an Italian rum specialist whose passion for high-quality rum laid the foundations for Ron Malecon. Ron Malecon is distilled in Panama from molasse using the traditional Cuban method and copper column stills.

The Rum Malecon Añejo 13 Años Rare Proof 2006 is a limited edition from the Malecon distillery in Panama, representing a special vintage and highly prized for its rarity, outstanding quality and unique characteristics.

Produced from selected sugar cane and aged for a period of 13 years, this rum reflects the climatic and production conditions of 2006, which is recorded in its name and refers to the year of distillation.
