Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Honey, pear and apple with hints of almond and a delicate citrus freshness.

Palate: Notes of apple pie, caramel, vanilla and delicate sweetness, complemented by gentle hints of almond.

Finish: Long-lasting, fruity with subtle spicy notes.

This single malt pairs superbly with mild desserts such as apple strudel, vanilla custard or delicate almond biscuits, as its fruity and sweet aromas complement these flavours beautifully. It also makes an appealing accompaniment to mild cheeses such as young Gouda or creamy Brie. When paired with white meat, particularly poultry in honey and citrus marinades, it unfolds a sophisticated interplay of flavours.
