Description
Bayou RESERVE Select Barrel Rum 40% vol. 0.7 l online kaufen
Bayou RESERVE Select Barrel Rum is an outstanding rum from the United States, produced in southern Louisiana using locally grown sugar cane. This rum is pressed at the oldest mill in the USA, which gives Bayou Rum its unique authenticity. Only sugar cane is used in the production process, which is distilled in copper pot stills to create a particularly pure and aromatic rum.
Maturation takes place in bourbon casks using the Solera method, with the rum ageing in the casks for up to three years. This method ensures a particularly rounded and harmonious flavour, which is perfect for bourbon lovers. Bayou RESERVE Select Barrel Rum offers a combination of sweet, woody and complex flavours typical of high-quality bourbon-style rums.

Tasting Note
Colour: Dark amber.
Nose: Aromas of vanilla, caramel, toasted nuts and a subtle oakiness, accompanied by a delicate hint of caramel.
Palate: Full-bodied and rounded, with notes of sweet caramel, honey, bourbon vanilla and a subtle hint of oak.
Finish: Long and smooth, with lingering notes of oak and caramel that allow the flavour to fade gently.
Bayou RESERVE Select Barrel Rum is ideal for enjoying neat or on the rocks, allowing you to experience its complex flavours in all their depth. It also comes into its own as a base for classic cocktails such as the Rum Old Fashioned or a Bourbon Sour. It pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, roasted nuts or a mild cigar, and is an ideal choice for bourbon lovers who wish to enjoy a sophisticated rum.
