Description
The M&H Elements Peated Single Malt Whisky 46% vol. 0.7 l + GB is a fascinating expression of Israeli whisky-making craftsmanship, combining the influences of two seas – the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Produced by the innovative Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, this whisky presents itself as a harmonious blend of Mediterranean warmth and a smoky, maritime character.
Part of this exceptional blend was matured in ex-Islay casks, renowned for their distinctive smoky and salty notes, whilst the other part was aged in ex-bourbon casks under the intense Israeli sun. This combination creates a fascinating balance between smoky, peaty depth and the soft, fruity aromas typical of M&H whiskies.
Tel Aviv’s unique geographical location – between the sea and the desert – offers ideal conditions for rapid and intensive maturation, lending the whisky its characteristic intensity and depth. With an alcohol content of 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and retaining its natural colour, this single malt embodies authenticity, craftsmanship and a spirit of innovation.
Awards:
- M&H Distillery is Best Craft Producer of the Year 2023
-M&H Distillery is Brand Innovator of the Year 2023
-Tomer Goren, M&H’s Head Distiller, is Distiller of the Year 2023
Tasting Note
Colour: Pale gold.
Nose: Smoky and earthy notes blend with creamy vanilla, spicy oak and a hint of lemon.
Palate: Initial vanilla flavours give way to delicate peat, a pleasant warmth, a touch of ginger and citrus fruits.
Finish: Long-lasting with elegant nuances of oak, lemon and subtle peat.
The M&H Elements Peated Single Malt reveals its full complexity best when enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water. Culinary pairings include grilled lamb, smoked fish or dark chocolate with sea salt. It is equally impressive as an accompaniment to mature cheese or bacon-wrapped dates, where its peaty and fruity notes come into their own. As an after-dinner whisky, it pairs perfectly with a selection of cigars or during a stylish whisky tasting evening – a whisky that masterfully blends tradition and modernity, smoke and sunshine.
