Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany with golden highlights.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with notes of caramel, ripe fruit, subtle oak, a hint of pepper and rye whisky spices.

Finish: Long and warming, with a balanced blend of oak, spices and sweet caramel notes.

Don Papa Rum Rye Aged is excellent enjoyed neat or on the rocks to allow the complex flavours to unfold fully. It pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, mature cheeses such as Gouda or Comté, as well as BBQ dishes or grilled meat. For cocktails, it is an excellent choice for a Rum Old Fashioned or a Rum Manhattan, where its complex and spicy flavours really come into their own.
