Wikinger Met Honey Mulled Wine is a delicious, warming speciality that combines the tradition of classic mead with winter spices. With an alcohol content of 10 % vol. and bottled in a 0.75-litre bottle, this honey mulled wine is the perfect drink for cold days and cosy evenings.

Made from high-quality honey wine (mead), this mulled mead is characterised by its natural sweetness and the harmonious combination of warming spices such as cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. The delicate flavours are reminiscent of a traditional mulled wine, yet the honey lends it a particularly mild and full-bodied note. Wikinger Met is inspired by ancient Nordic drinking rituals, in which mead was prized as a festive drink.

This mead is ready to drink and simply needs to be gently warmed – ideal for convivial winter evenings, Christmas markets or cosy moments by the fireside.

Colour: Golden yellow with amber highlights.

Nose: Intense honey notes with warm, spicy undertones of cinnamon, cloves and a hint of orange.

Finish: Smooth and long-lasting, with a warm honeyed spiciness and subtle vanilla.

Wikinger Met is best served slightly warmed (do not boil, as this will cause the flavours to be lost) in a heat-resistant cup or earthenware mug. If you prefer it even more spiced, you can enhance it with a cinnamon stick, orange slices or a dash of rum.

It pairs superbly with winter treats such as gingerbread, baked apples or nuts. It also reveals its full potential when served with savoury dishes such as roast game or strong cheeses.
