Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey is distilled from a carefully balanced blend of corn, rye and barley malt and then filtered through the so-called charcoal mellowing process - a complex method in which the fresh whiskey slowly drips through charcoal made from sugar maple. This process makes it particularly smooth and round in flavour. It is then matured in handmade American white oak barrels, which give the whiskey its characteristic colour and notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak.


With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, this whiskey is soft, harmonious and full of character at the same time. Its flavour combines sweet caramel, vanilla, banana and a fine woody note, which have made it one of the most popular whiskeys in the world.
