Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whisky is made from a carefully selected blend of maize, rye and barley malt. Its characteristic flavour is created by the unique Charcoal Mellowing process, in which the whisky is filtered drop by drop through a layer of maple charcoal several metres thick before being aged in casks. This process gives it its legendary smoothness and unmistakably mellow character. It is then matured in handcrafted new oak casks, which give it its colour, vanilla and caramel notes, as well as its pleasant smokiness.
