Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is distilled from a carefully balanced blend of maize, rye and barley malt, and is then filtered using the so-called ‘Charcoal Mellowing’ process – a labour-intensive method in which the fresh whiskey drips slowly through sugar maple charcoal. This process gives it a particularly smooth and rounded flavour. It is then matured in handcrafted American white oak casks, which lend the whisky its characteristic colour and notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak.


With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, this whisky is smooth, harmonious and full of character all at once. Its aroma combines sweet caramel, vanilla, banana and a subtle woody note, which have made it one of the most popular whiskies in the world.
