Produced by the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, this American whisky is based on a classic mash bill of maize, rye and malted barley. A defining feature is the Lincoln County Process, in which the whisky is slowly filtered through sugar maple charcoal before barrel ageing. This process gives Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whisky its characteristic smoothness and soft, rounded character. Maturation takes place in new, charred oak casks, which are largely responsible for the pronounced vanilla, caramel and toasty flavours.
