Blanton's The Original Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 46.5% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is considered one of the pioneering bottlings within the single barrel bourbon category and is produced in the traditional Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each bottle comes from a single barrel and is taken exclusively from the coveted centre cut of the famous Warehouse H, the warehouse that offers particularly constant maturing conditions. Originally, these casks were intended exclusively for diplomats, dignitaries and close friends of Colonel Albert B. Blanton. However, Blanton's has been officially available since 1984 and became internationally recognised as the "world's first" single barrel bourbon. The delivery includes a high-quality gift box, which further emphasises the collector's character and the special position of this bourbon.


With an alcohol content of 46.5 per cent by volume, Blanton's Original stands for careful barrel selection and traditional production with a long-lasting character. Tasting Note

Colour: Amber with bright golden reflections.

Nose: Creamy vanilla, caramelised notes, butterscotch and light hints of citrus, underpinned by fine baking spices such as clove, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Flavour: Soft, sweet structure with citrus accents, balanced oak spice, layers of caramel and creamy vanilla.

Finish: Langs, warm and harmonious, carried by oak, spices and subtle sweetness.

Blanton's Original Single Barrel is ideal for pure enjoyment, as its single cask character stands out particularly clearly. A harmonious combination is created with dark chocolate, nut nougat, butter caramel or desserts with orange zest, which elegantly reflects its aromatic facets. It can also be combined with savoury dishes such as BBQ ribs, grilled meat or spicy glazes, as it balances out their roasted flavours.
