Pasote Reposado Tequila is a premium 100 per cent agave tequila from the Jalisco Highlands, produced using traditional methods and carefully selected raw materials. The basis is provided by ripe Blue Weber agaves grown on the estate itself, which are first cooked evenly for two days and then crushed using a roller mill. Fermentation takes place in open stainless-steel tanks using a specially formulated blend of cultivated local yeasts. The tequila is then double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills, using water from the distillery’s own well, which is naturally filtered through volcanic rock. No glycerine, artificial flavourings or other additives are used.


After distillation, the Pasote Reposado is aged for at least four months in American oak casks, allowing the original agave character to blend with the influences of the wood. Production in the Jalisco Highlands, the use of 100% Blue Weber agave and ageing in American oak barrels are the key characteristics of this artisanally produced Reposado tequila. The design of the 0.7-litre bottle, with an alcohol content of 40 per cent by volume, also draws on Mexican history: the striking label depicts an Aztec jaguar warrior, reflecting the inspiration behind the name – the warriors of Aztec culture, who were regarded as particularly brave and determined. In this way, Pasote combines traditional symbolism with a precisely defined tequila-making process.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale straw yellow.

Nose: Delicate and well-balanced with notes of toasted agave and herbal accents, accompanied by coconut, vanilla and sweet oak.

Palate: Smooth and warming with pronounced agave, a hint of caramel and dried fruit, complemented by vanilla and toasted nuts.

Finish: Smooth and harmonious with a long-lasting agave flavour and subtle notes of toasted oak.

Pasote Reposado Tequila is particularly well suited to being enjoyed neat at room temperature, allowing the agave and the influences of the American oak casks to unfold in perfect balance. As a culinary accompaniment, various artisanal and matured cheeses pair very well with its full-bodied profile. For heartier dishes, it is recommended to pair it with grilled meat or carnitas, whose roasted flavours complement the oak and agave notes. Furthermore, the Reposado serves as an excellent base for classic tequila cocktails where a distinct cask character is desired.
