Pasote Añejo Tequila 100% de Agave 40% Vol. 0.7 l is a high-quality premium tequila from Mexico, traditionally handcrafted from blue Weber agave (Agave Tequilana Weber, variedad azul). It is produced in the renowned region of Jalisco, which is regarded as the heart of tequila culture. Behind Pasote is the Camarena family, who have a long tradition of producing agave spirits and have created a brand that stands for authenticity, tradition and the highest quality.


The agaves are carefully harvested after years of maturation, slowly cooked in stone ovens and then gently crushed. Following fermentation, distillation takes place in copper stills, which imparts purity and aromatic intensity to the tequila. The Pasote Añejo is then aged for at least one year in oak casks, which gives it its golden colour and a complex range of flavours including vanilla, caramel and subtle woody notes. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., it is full-bodied, yet at the same time elegant and well-balanced.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Smooth and complex, with aromas of vanilla, caramel, ripe agave and a hint of spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and harmonious, characterised by sweet agave, oak, honey, chocolate and subtle spices.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and rounded, with a well-balanced interplay between agave and oak.

Pasote Añejo is ideal for enjoying neat in a nosing glass to discover its barrel-aged complexity. It also pairs superbly with cigars, dark chocolate, strong cheese or grilled meat. As a luxury tequila, it can also be used in classic cocktails such as a Tequila Old Fashioned or Manhattan variations, where it fully reveals its depth and elegance.
