Description
The distillery was founded in 1879 by Charles Mortimer Dedman. Kentucky Owl was forced to close due to Prohibition, which prohibited the production, sale and transport of alcohol. The whisky was confiscated by the government and taken to a warehouse for storage – but the warehouse mysteriously burnt down, along with all that fine whisky. Dixon Deman, Charles’s great-great-grandson, took his family’s fate into his own hands and made it his mission to revive his family’s history.
The Straight Bourbon Whisky Batch No. 12 has an alcohol content of 57.9% by volume, making it Kentucky Owl Bourbon’s strongest bottling.

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Fresh, fruity, spicy, apples, white grapes, cinnamon buns, vanilla, maple syrup, oak.
Palate: Very full-bodied, creamy, fruity, honey, citrus fruits, caramel, oak.
Finish: Long-lasting, intense.
