The history of Kentucky Owl begins with Charles Mortimer Dedman, who founded the distillery in Kentucky in the late 1800s. After Prohibition, the brand fell into obscurity, but was revived in 2014 by Dixon Dedman, a descendant of the founder. With the aim of continuing his family’s tradition and heritage, Dixon Dedman has brought the brand back to life by selecting hand-picked casks and creating exceptional bourbon blends.
