In this process, the freshly distilled whisky slowly passes through a three-metre-thick layer of sugar maple charcoal. Gentleman Jack is characterised by this special filtration method as well as its unique cask-maturing process. Only the company’s own casks, made from high-quality American white oak, are used; their interiors are gently ‘toasted’ to caramelise the wood’s natural sugars. After barrel ageing, this Tennessee whisky undergoes charcoal mellowing a second time.

This double charcoal mellowing not only gives Gentleman Jack its unmistakably smooth flavour, but above all makes it unique worldwide.
